MISMAPS℠ SERVICE OWNERSHIP

MISMAPS℠ is a privately controlled, independently operated cartography, mapping, route-planning, and logistics-support service published under the name Nive Tsero. Misriah Industry Materials Group [MIMGC] is authorized to operate it in-universe through MIMGC Cartography. M-CON membership, public access, integrations, contributions, or use do not transfer ownership.

Service-mark notice: MISMAPS℠ identifies the privately controlled online mapping and route-planning service. The ℠ symbol gives notice of a claimed service mark; it does not represent federal registration.

ATTRIBUTION & NON-AFFILIATION

EVE Online® and Fenris Creations™ and their related logos and elements are trademarks of Fenris Creations. EVE artwork, names, characters, ships, universe facts, images, and game data remain the property of their respective owners.

MISMAPS is an independent, non-commercial third-party application created and operated under the currently published EVE Developer License Agreement. Fenris Creations and CCP hf. do not operate MISMAPS, are not responsible for its content or availability, and do not sponsor or endorse it.

OFFICIAL MAP & ACTIVITY SOURCES

Cluster systems, regions, constellations, coordinates, stargates, celestial objects, NPC stations, and station services are derived from official EVE Static Data Export (SDE) and public ESI data. Public traffic, conflict, sovereignty, faction-warfare, and incursion layers use official public ESI responses. Every SDE candidate must pass MISMAPS schema, count, membership, coordinate, and topology checks before replacing the current validated map.

MISMAPS uses source timestamps, bounded requests, caching, and last-known-good data to respect published limits and remain usable during temporary upstream outages. It does not claim ownership of EVE data or imply a partnership with Fenris Creations.

PRIVACY-SAFE BY DEFAULT

• The public atlas does not require EVE SSO or an EVE account.
• MISMAPS does not receive or store an EVE account password or ESI token.
• No advertising or cross-site analytics cookie is intentionally set by MISMAPS.
• mimgc.atlas.bookmarks.v2 stores chosen system bookmarks and optional custom labels only in the current browser. Earlier numeric-only bookmarks are migrated locally from mimgc.atlas.bookmarks.v1.
• mimgc.atlas.display.v1 stores device-local display and accessibility preferences only in the current browser.
• mimgc.atlas.workspace.v1 stores device-local panel size and widget-visibility preferences only in the current browser.

Visitors can remove local MISMAPS preferences through browser storage controls. Hosting and security infrastructure may process ordinary request metadata such as IP address, user agent, time, and requested path to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

ISSUE-REPORT DATA HANDLING

The public issue form sends the selected category, the reporter's written description, limited diagnostic context visible for the current atlas state, and optional contact information to a private MISMAPS review queue. It does not automatically add an EVE account, character, email address, or real-world identity.

Do not submit secrets, account credentials, sensitive personal information, or information unrelated to the map issue. Optional contact data is visible only to authorized reviewers.

RESPONSIBLE ACCESS

By using MISMAPS, you agree not to:

• disrupt, overload, probe, or attempt to bypass service or inbox controls;
• submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, credential-bearing, or unrelated material;
• use MISMAPS to facilitate conduct prohibited by applicable law or EVE rules;
• misrepresent MISMAPS data, branding, or output as official Fenris/CCP material; or
• automate access in a manner that ignores published limits or materially harms availability.

VERIFY CRITICAL TRAVEL IN-GAME

MISMAPS is provided on a best-effort, “as available” basis. Routes, security status, traffic, conflict, sovereignty, incursions, faction warfare, station services, risk indicators, and other information may be delayed, incomplete, changed upstream, or temporarily unavailable. Player-owned structures and non-public dynamic locations are not represented without authorized data.

Route risk colors are informational assessments, not live danger forecasts. The EVE client and authoritative EVE services control in-game facts. Verify critical travel and operational decisions in-game. To the extent permitted by applicable law, MISMAPS disclaims implied warranties and liability for decisions made from incomplete, delayed, or unavailable information.

CORRECTIONS, PRIVACY & SECURITY

Use the atlas's Report map issue control for mapping or route corrections. Send MISMAPS-specific legal, privacy, or responsible-security reports by EVE Mail to Nive Tsero. Requests concerning an EVE account, password, or Fenris-held data must be directed to official EVE Online support or Fenris Creations.
